After decades of work in organizing, coaching, facilitation, and mediation, I am called to support individuals and their caregivers through the final stages of life.

My path to this work started during a profound family health crisis. When my mother-in-law became deeply ill, we were suddenly thrown into the overwhelming reality of deciding whether to pursue more medical treatment or transition to palliative care. In the middle of that heartbreak and confusion, we connected with an exceptional palliative care coordinator. I was deeply struck by her ability to guide us through chaotic, vulnerable decision points with a rare balance of compassion and candor-- all while fiercely protecting our family’s agency.

I was so moved by her support during such a difficult time, and it clicked for me: helping people navigate life's final chapters with steady, heartfelt support is an incredibly meaningful calling.

Having walked through many personal losses with my own family and friends, I knew I wanted to step fully into this space. Becoming an end-of-life care coordinator and death doula allows me to channel my years of experience in organizing, coaching, mediation, and planning into what matters most—helping families through this difficult moment so the last stage of life is filled with dignity, authenticity, and support.

You don’t have to feel as alone or overwhelmed in this moment-- and it would be a gift to support you.

When I am not doing this, I spend my time with my partner and friends, on a bike, dabbling in art, practicing meditation, serving as a housing mediator, getting involved in local organizing efforts, and learning from this furry expert below about how to relax.
