How I Can Support You

When you or someone you love is facing the end of life, the sheer amount of decisions, details, and emotions can feel paralyzing. You do not have to figure this out alone.

As an end-of-life care coordinator, death doula, and mediator, I’m here to help “de-intimidate” all of that. I would bring calm, steady support to help you navigate this time with dignity, clarity, and peace of mind.

Below are examples of services I can offer to help make that more possible for you and loved ones.

Don’t know what you need or where to start?

That’s completely understandable. You can book a flexible block of hours to talk through your situation and the broad range of practical, emotional, and spiritual issues you've encountered or anticipate. Together, we can explore what you and your loved ones need to be best prepared to navigate the last chapter of life.

Planning & Decision Support

Getting clear on what matters most and making sure your wishes are known.

  • End-of-Life Planning: Walking with you, step-by-step, to make sense of your options, organize details, and build a plan tailored to your values and wishes. That could take the form of Advanced Care Directives, guidance for Wills, or Handbook and Resource Guides for you to tap as you need.

  • Legacy & Belongings Audits: Simple, proactive support for healthy individuals or older couples who want to organize their affairs, space, and life stories and guidance before a medical crisis happens.

  • Caregiver Support & Sustainability Planning: Supporting caregivers to create practical care plans that protect family caregivers from exhaustion while honoring the dying person’s wishes.

Practical & Hands-On Care

Handling the logistics so you can focus on being present with your loved ones.

  • Bedside & Vigil Support: Creating a peaceful, comforting atmosphere during the active dying process, offering a grounding presence for both you and your loved ones. This may include coordinating music, readings, meditations, and spiritual support, as desired by the client and close circle.

  • Care Network Setup: Help design your circle of support—from setting up communication updates to coordinating friends, meals, and volunteer shifts—so caregiving stays manageable.

  • Caregiver Respite & Tailored Support: Providing individualized, hands-on relief and practical assistance to family members and caregivers, ensuring they can rest, recharge, and receive the specific support they need throughout the process.

Family & Relationship Facilitation

Easing tension, preventing burnout, and bringing everyone onto the same page.

  • Family Alignment: Facilitating gentle, pre-crisis family conversations to set expectations and directives, agree on wishes, and avoid sudden conflicts down the road.

  • Compassionate Mediation: Offering mediation when family members or caregivers disagree, helping everyone find common ground during high-stress moments.

  • Personalized Coaching: A safe space to talk through transitions, process what’s happening, and feel fully heard and supported.

After Death Needs

Navigating grief, meaningful honorings, and post-life administration.

  • Grief Support: Support family and friends through the grieving process and help find grief-specific resources, as desired by caregivers.

  • Memorial & Ritual Planning: Support family and friends to plan memorial gatherings or other rituals and activities based on the client’s wishes and the caregivers’ needs.

  • Post-Life Practical Support: Assist in helping caregivers navigate post-life administrative tasks, such as closing accounts and sorting belongings, to give families more space to grieve.
